Mission Cats Foundation is committed to providing pet care, pet food and veterinary care to pets that belong to senior citizens, economically-disadvantaged, disabled and homeless individuals in the Bay area. Our long term strategic plan focuses on the following areas:
Although we strive to have a strong network of donation sites and pet food providers (soup kitchens, food pantries), occasionally, they will request additional food, which we will purchase and deliver/ship.
Immediate veterinary care for acute illness or injury. This is our most costly program due to urgency and the diagnosis that frequently requires extensive treatment and surgery
We provide wellness checks for pets at no cost. We hope to partner with veterinary hospitals to provide clinics where preventive treatment is offered to pets owned by qualified individuals at locations easily accessed in their areas. By providing wellness checkups across the Bay area we are helping to stop the spread of disease and illness.
Mission Cats Foundation provides emergency veterinary care, preventative wellness checks, and pet food and supplies to the companion animals of senior citizens, economically-disadvantaged, disabled and homeless persons. The organization also provides assistance to veterans participating in the HUD-VASH program who are housed and in VA treatment programs.
